Adopción de TIC y su impacto en el desarrollo turístico de la comunidad Kumiai en San José de la Zorra, Baja California, México

Resumen

Este estudio aborda la integración de Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC) en la comunidad indígena Kumiai de San José de la Zorra, Baja California (México), como estrategia para fomentar el desarrollo turístico sostenible y preservar su herencia cultural. A través de un enfoque metodológico cualitativo basado en entrevistas, se identificaron oportunidades y desafíos en la adopción de TIC, tales como la falta de infraestructura tecnológica adecuada, escasa capacitación y barreras para implementar tecnologías avanzadas como el Internet de las Cosas (IoT) y Big Data. Los resultados subrayan que las TIC pueden optimizar la gestión de recursos, mejorar la promoción turística y fortalecer la sostenibilidad económica y cultural de la comunidad. Sin embargo, también destacan la necesidad de estrategias adaptadas al contexto rural, programas de formación inclusivos y apoyo externo para garantizar una implementación efectiva y respetuosa de las tradiciones locales.
